By Website Content Manager

Singer and rapper Post Malone is set to perform before the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, taking the stage at New York New Jersey Stadium on July 19.

Post Malone is set to take the spotlight on one of the world’s biggest stages after being named the headlining performer for the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony.

The 31-year-old Grammy-nominated singer and rapper will perform ahead of the tournament final at New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, July 19. The closing ceremony will mark the end of the 39-day competition, which features 48 national teams competing across 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET—90 minutes before kickoff—the event will blend music, culture, and football in a celebration before the championship match.

The performance adds another milestone to Post Malone’s career as one of music’s most versatile artists. Known for seamlessly crossing genres, he has found success in hip-hop, pop, rock, and country. His latest album, F-1 Trillion, became his first country record and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Throughout his career, Post Malone has released numerous diamond-certified hits, including “Rockstar,” “I Fall Apart,” “Psycho,” “White Iverson,” “Better Now,” “Congratulations,” “Circles,” and “Sunflower,” the latter becoming the highest-certified single in RIAA history.

In a press statement, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said Post Malone’s performance is intended to celebrate the tournament’s journey while building excitement before the world turns its attention to the two finalists.

The artist will join an already star-studded entertainment lineup for the closing ceremony, which includes Tom Cruise, Jennifer Hudson, Laura Pausini, Nicole Scherzinger, Robbie Williams, and IShowSpeed.

Fans can also look forward to the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final halftime show, featuring performances by Shakira, Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber, and Coldplay. The 11-minute production was curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
