Niall Horan has not yet announced the title or release date for his upcoming fourth studio album.
Niall Horan has confirmed that new music is on the way.
In an Instagram carousel posted on Tuesday, Feb. 24, the former One Direction member shared the update fans had been hoping for, writing simply, “Album is DONE.”
The post opened with a relaxed photo of Horan outdoors on a sunny day, wearing a sweater and jeans while holding a coffee. He also included glimpses of a cozy home studio set up in a living room, along with a brief clip showing him playing piano.
Fans quickly filled the comments with excitement, with some asking for a preview of the new songs. Responding to those requests, Horan later shared a short video on his Instagram Stories on Feb. 26. In the clip, he sits alone on a sofa, softly harmonizing while strumming an acoustic guitar. He captioned the teaser with just an eyes emoji.
The upcoming project will follow his previous solo albums — Flicker (2017), Heartbreak Weather (2020), and The Show (2023). In recent years, Horan has also become a familiar face as a coach on The Voice, appearing alongside Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg.
Around the release of The Show, he also announced a major tour, sharing his excitement about returning to the stage and reconnecting with fans. The tour began in Belfast in February 2024 and ran through July, later adding more dates.
Notably, just weeks before his passing in October 2024, Liam Payne attended one of Horan’s concerts in Buenos Aires, where fan videos captured him enjoying and applauding his former bandmate’s performance.
