“The international superstar had earlier released the Shiny Bug vinyl set on August 18.”
Another Taylor Swift countdown, another vinyl surprise!
After hinting at her next reveal with a sparkling online countdown, Swift announced on August 21 at 2 p.m. EST that the Baby, That’s Show Business Collection was now up for grabs on her official store. This marks the second batch of limited-edition vinyl releases tied to her upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl, set to drop October 3.
The new collection includes two variants: Lakeside Beach Blue Sparkle, a blue record accented with black marbling and glitter, and Lovely Bouquet Golden, a metallic golden-yellow vinyl splashed with orange and red.
The fresh cover art shows Swift centerstage wearing a dazzling two-piece showgirl ensemble complete with a feathered yellow headdress. Fans will have just 48 hours to purchase the special records, with sales closing at 2 p.m. EST on August 23.
Just days earlier, on August 18, the 14-time Grammy winner rolled out her first exclusive set — The Shiny Bug Vinyl Collection — which was also limited to a 48-hour sale window. That release featured two styles: Violet Shimmered Marble and Wintergreen and Onyx Marble, paired with its own unique artwork.
Swift officially ushered in her latest musical chapter at 12:12 a.m. EST on August 12, when she confirmed her 12th studio album The Life of a Showgirl would arrive this fall.
She later revealed the album’s cover, tracklist, and release date in a playful moment with boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason during their New Heights podcast on August 13.
“And, baby, that’s show business for you. New album The Life of a Showgirl. Out October 3,” Swift captioned the coordinating Instagram announcement.
“Co-produced by Swift alongside Max Martin and Shellback, the album will include 12 tracks. Among the titles are Ruin the Friendship, Actually Romantic, Eldest Daughter, Opalite, and The Fate of Ophelia, along with several others.”
