Selena Gomez expressed that she thoroughly enjoyed herself at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert, stating, “I really lived my life — the right way.”

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight at the premiere of her new film, Emilia Pérez, the actress shared her excitement about attending Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour.

“Oh, I had such a great time,” Gomez, 32, said regarding the concert.

She continued, “I’m a big fan of Sabrina, so I really lived my life — the right way.”

Gomez enjoyed the concert at Madison Square Garden with friends on Sunday, September 29. During the event, the “Calm Down” artist posted a video of herself dancing to “Juno” on Instagram, tagging her boyfriend Benny Blanco in the caption.

Blanco, 36, responded playfully in the comments, alluding to her 2015 hit “Hands to Myself” by writing, “Can’t keep my hands to myself.”

Gomez’s new film, Emilia Pérez, is a Spanish-language musical directed and written by French filmmaker Jacques Audiard.

The film’s synopsis states, “Through empowering music, dance, and striking visuals, this journey explores the lives of four extraordinary women in Mexico, each in search of their own happiness.”

It continues, “The formidable cartel leader Emilia recruits Rita (Saldaña), an undervalued lawyer trapped in a monotonous job, to assist in staging her death so that Emilia can finally embrace her true identity.”
