On Saturday, Dec. 13, Rihanna showed up to the closing show of Mariah Carey’s Christmastime in Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
The Fenty Beauty founder, 37, was among the crowd for the final show of Carey’s Christmastime in Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Saturday, Dec. 13. A video later posted on social media showed a fan asking Rihanna to stop blocking their view — and captured her amused reaction.
In the clip, Carey, 56, is performing “We Belong Together” when Rihanna stands up, appearing to step onto a chair or higher surface, enthusiastically waving her arms and blowing a kiss toward the stage. Another concertgoer then seemed to gesture or call out for her to sit down so they could see better, prompting Rihanna to exclaim, “Oh, s—!”
She quickly apologized, saying “My bad” as she climbed back down — though she didn’t stop dancing. The TikTok user who shared the video added on-screen text joking about the nerve it took to ask Rihanna to sit while she was openly fangirling over Mariah Carey.
This wasn’t the first time Rihanna showed her love for the pop icon. Last December, she attended Carey’s final Christmas Time Tour stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, where she made headlines after Carey signed her breast during a fan interaction while performing “Always Be My Baby.” Rihanna, wearing sunglasses and a plush tan jacket, excitedly announced what was happening as the crowd cheered.
Meanwhile, Carey continues to dominate the charts. Her holiday classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has once again claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, with the chart dated Dec. 20, 2025 marking the song’s historic 20th total week at the top since its 1994 release.
