Pink is taking a break from her world tour.
The 44-year-old singer announced on Instagram on Tuesday, July 2, that she had to cancel her July 3 concert in Bern, Switzerland, following a “consultation” with her doctor.
“I am so sorry that I have had to cancel my show in Bern this Wednesday,” Pink wrote regretfully on Instagram, referring to the interruption in her Summer Carnival tour.
“I do everything I can to ensure I can perform for you every night, but after consulting with my doctor and exploring all available options, I’ve been advised that I’m unable to continue with the show tomorrow.”
“I was looking forward to being with you, making memories, and sharing our show,” she continued, expressing her disappointment over the cancellation. She assured fans that all tickets purchased for the show “will be refunded.”
“Sending love and health to you all, and I really hope to see you again soon. P!nk xoxo,” the “TRUSTFALL” singer signed off.
Pink did not disclose the specific health reasons for the cancellation.
In a video posted on June 11, Pink revealed she was “starting the tour off with a stomach bug and my period” while preparing for her first U.K. show in Cardiff, Wales. She mentioned in the caption that she had contracted “a little food poisoning.”
“A LITTLE FOOD POISONING CAN’T STOP US. Let’s gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo #whatcramps #summercarnival2024 #spinmefaster,” she wrote at the time.
Pink’s show cancellation also follows an emotional video she shared on Instagram, showing her saying goodbye to her 13-year-old daughter, Willow, at the end of her time on the Summer Carnival tour.
In the video posted on Friday, June 28, Pink talked backstage with Willow about their plans once she returns home. Willow shared her excitement about joining a production of Bye Bye Birdie and discussed her aspirations for a theater career and Broadway dreams.
Pink shares daughter Willow and son Jameson Moon, 7, with her husband Carey Hart.
The singer’s next scheduled performance is in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Saturday, July 6. She will continue the remainder of her European tour leg until July 25, before returning to the U.S. for more shows.
