Miley Cyrus Makes a Surprise Appearance with Beyoncé in Paris for ‘II Most Wanted’ Duet: ‘Forever Your Shotgun Rider’

By Website Content Manager

“II Most Wanted” appears on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, which dropped in March 2024.

Fans at Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour stop were treated to an unforgettable moment.

On Thursday, June 19, Miley Cyrus made an unexpected appearance at the 35-time Grammy winner’s concert at Paris’ Stade de France. The two artists performed their award-winning duet “II Most Wanted” together for the first time live.

Cyrus, 32, took the stage in a shimmering gold Alexander McQueen jumpsuit, joining Beyoncé, 43, who wore a matching gold bodysuit. Their performance marked the debut of the song on stage — a highlight of the night for the crowd.

Following the show, Cyrus took to Instagram to share clips and photos along with a heartfelt message to Beyoncé.

“@beyonce — standing beside such a graceful, iconic legend was truly a dream,” she wrote. “Thank you for letting me share the stage in Paris and perform our song about friendship.”

She went on to express her admiration, saying: “I’ve looked up to you and loved you for as long as I can remember. Getting to sing with you in coordinating gold outfits was beyond anything I imagined. Ending my time supporting Something Beautiful with a stadium full of fans singing ‘II Most Wanted’ was pure magic.”

She closed the tribute with gratitude: “Thank you, B. I’ll be your shotgun rider for life. Huge thanks to the Cowboy Carter tour team for making it all possible. Always and forever.”

In a follow-up Instagram update, the “Easy Lover” singer posted close-up shots of herself and Beyoncé, known for hits like “Texas Hold ’Em,” performing together onstage.

She captioned the post, “II Most Wanted. Je t’aime pour toujours @beyonce,” translating to “I love you forever.”

Cyrus later uploaded another batch of videos and photos, including behind-the-scenes moments captured before the performance.

In the caption, she wrote, “Je t’aime Paris & @beyonce,” meaning “I love you Paris.”

One of the clips shows Cyrus confidently strutting backstage in her gold ensemble, playfully chiming, “Little ol’ me showin’ up in Paris in Alexander McQueen for Queen Bey, what?” as she strikes a catwalk pose.
