Katy Perry Fans Recreate the Singer’s Most Memorable Outfits at Her Lifetimes Tour — Complete with Left Shark

The pop star’s devoted “KatyCats” have been turning up in style and making a statement.

Katy Perry’s bond with her fans runs deep — and the love goes both ways.

The 40-year-old pop star launched her Lifetimes Tour in April in Mexico City to celebrate her newest album, 143. Since then, she’s taken the show to cities across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, with plans to visit more countries before the year ends.

At every stop, Perry’s devoted fan base — lovingly called “KatyCats” — has been honoring her by recreating or reimagining some of her most memorable fashion moments. Many have channeled her Teenage Dream era, while others have paid homage to her 2015 Super Bowl XLIX halftime performance. One concertgoer even wore an exact replica of an outfit Perry sported during the show, while other fans turned up as “Left Shark,” the viral backup dancer famous for his offbeat moves.

This marks Perry’s first world tour since Witness: The Tour in 2017–2018. She also completed her first Las Vegas residency, Play, at the Resorts World Theatre from 2021 to 2023.

On the Lifetimes Tour, Perry performs tracks from 143, including “Woman’s World,” “I’m His, He’s Mine,” “Nirvana,” and “Crush,” alongside hits from her career like “California Gurls,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Roar,” and “Firework.” She’s also made sure to create memorable moments with fans — from bringing audience members on stage for a “Choose Your Own Adventure” song vote to singing “Happy Birthday” to a fan, celebrating a young aspiring marine biologist, and even inviting a child onstage in Australia to dance with her, fulfilling one of his dreams.

The tour has been a massive success, with sold-out dates in North America and Australia and overwhelming demand overseas. In China, four November shows sold out within one minute, with an added date in Shanghai selling out just as fast. Paris was originally set for one concert, but due to overwhelming interest, Perry added two more — all of which sold out as well.
