Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau Are Already “Lining Up Their Holiday Plans” as Their Fast-Moving Romance Continues

Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are gearing up to enjoy some quality time together.
The 41-year-old singer and the 53-year-old former Canadian prime minister, who were first seen spending time together in July, have continued to grow closer. Now, a source close to Perry tells PEOPLE on Thursday, Nov. 20, that the two are already “making plans for the holidays.”
Still, the insider says that Perry’s main focus right now is finishing her tour.
“This year has been nonstop for her,” the source explains. “She hasn’t even had a moment to really think about what life will look like after the tour wraps.”
The source adds that Perry — who ended her engagement to Orlando Bloom earlier this year — will shift much of her attention to her 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, whom she shares with the Lord of the Rings actor, 48.
“She’s a single mom now, and that will really be front and center for her next year,” the insider shares.
Another source told PEOPLE on Wednesday, Nov. 19, that Perry and Trudeau see each other “whenever they can.”
“Justin continues to make a real effort to spend time with her, and she’s thrilled about it,” the source said, adding that Perry “has a great time with him.”
According to the source, their relationship is “exactly what she needs at this moment.”
The couple made their first public appearance together on Oct. 25, when they stepped out in Paris. TMZ reported that they were celebrating Perry’s birthday at a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris.
Just days later, a Canadian social insider told PEOPLE that Trudeau has been enjoying his time with Perry following his difficult separation from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023 and his resignation as prime minister.
The insider noted that Trudeau “is much happier now,” adding, “A lot of the pressure is gone. And he’s intrigued by Katy. They enjoy each other’s company, laugh a lot, and can talk about anything.”
Another source also told PEOPLE that the relationship took Perry by surprise.
Despite their demanding schedules, the pair “make room for each other and have a very strong connection,” the insider said.
“Katy didn’t expect to fall for someone so quickly, but Justin meets all her criteria. He’s funny, charismatic, and treats her well,” the source added.
