Jonas Brothers Bring Back Their Iconic 2008 Tour Style for the Launch of the “Burning Up Tour All Over Again”

By Website Content Manager

The Jonas Brothers revived some of their most memorable fashion moments from 18 years ago during the first of three sold-out concerts at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, Aug. 20.

The Jonas Brothers are bringing fans straight back to the late 2000s with a nostalgic twist on their latest tour.

Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas launched the Burning Up Tour All Over Again on Thursday, Aug. 20, performing the first of three consecutive sold-out concerts at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

The brothers leaned heavily into the throwback theme, recreating several outfits they originally wore during the 2008 Burning Up Tour.

They opened the show dressed in polished suits and tailored trousers. Joe paired a lime green shirt with a gray jacket, while Kevin chose a darker-toned vest. Nick took a slightly different approach, wearing a blue shirt underneath a gray pinstriped suit and completing the look with a tie.

Joe pointed out the familiar fashion choices to the audience, joking that the group had supposedly taken the original outfits from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He later clarified that the clothes were never actually displayed there, although fans would recognize the inspiration.

The brothers continued the nostalgia with their next set of outfits. Joe brought back his well-known Burnin’ Up tank top, while Kevin recreated his look with a black-and-white striped shirt and white pants. Nick also returned to a classic white T-shirt, this time pairing it with a tan jacket.

At another point in the performance, all three brothers appeared in coordinated black suits featuring the Jonas Brothers logo on the chest. Kevin even carried a guitar decorated with the band’s logo in a repeating design.

The tour was recently expanded to 45 cities following the overwhelming response to the Madison Square Garden concerts, which run through Saturday, Aug. 22.

After their New York shows, the Jonas Brothers will take a short break before resuming the tour at Boston’s TD Garden on Friday, Sept. 25.

The upcoming North American dates will include stops in cities such as Toronto, Washington, D.C., Miami, Los Angeles and Seattle. The tour is scheduled to conclude in Newark, New Jersey, on Monday, Dec. 21.

Joining the brothers on various dates will be All Time Low, Deleasa, Magnus Ferrell and their younger brother Franklin Jonas.

The concert is divided into two parts. The first recreates the complete setlist from the original 2008 Burning Up Tour, while the second focuses on songs the brothers released following their 2019 reunion.

The group has said their recent touring experience reminded them how meaningful their music remains to both the band and the longtime fans who have supported them since the beginning.
