Harry Styles Appears to Reference Ex Taylor Swift’s Marriage to Travis Kelce During Madison Square Garden Show

Swift and Styles were romantically linked between 2012 and 2013, while Swift later married Kelce at the Manhattan venue on Friday, July 3.
Harry Styles appeared to make a lighthearted reference to his former relationship with Taylor Swift while performing at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
During his concert on Saturday, Aug. 29, the 32-year-old singer joked about the famous Manhattan venue, mentioning both its basketball history and its connection to weddings.
“We’re at Madison Square Garden, home of the world champion New York Knicks,” Styles told the crowd before adding, “And they also do weddings.”
The remark came shortly after Swift, 36, married Travis Kelce at the same Manhattan location on Friday, July 3. Swift and Styles were romantically involved between 2012 and 2013.
Styles is now engaged to actress Zoë Kravitz. The two were first publicly linked in August 2025.
Following Swift and Kelce’s wedding, Swift’s representative confirmed that the couple chose not to have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, took on the role of Man of Honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, served as Best Man.
The ceremony brought the couple’s families together and was officiated by their friend Adam Sandler.
Swift and Kelce also welcomed a star-studded group of friends and fellow celebrities to celebrate with them. Among the reported guests were Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Sabrina Carpenter, Brad Pitt, Tom Hanks, Bradley Cooper and Dakota Johnson.
For their wedding-day fashion, the couple turned to Christian Dior Haute Couture. Jonathan Anderson, Dior’s Creative Director overseeing the women’s, men’s and haute couture collections, collaborated closely with both Swift and Kelce on their respective looks.
Their footwear was custom-designed by Christian Louboutin, while Swift accessorized her bridal look with Cartier jewelry, according to her representative.
