Benson Boone lit up the Saturday Night Live stage with an energetic debut!

The 22-year-old artist served as the musical guest on the May 3 episode of the iconic sketch comedy show, hosted by Abbott Elementary star Quinta Brunson.

Boone kicked off his set with a performance of “Sorry I’m Here for Someone Else,” a track from his Fireworks & Rollerblades album.

Dressed in a vibrant purple shirt and pink pants, he wowed the audience by flipping over Brunson before joining the live band on stage to deliver his high-energy number.

Boone returned to the stage later in the night for a second performance, this time singing “Mystical Magical.”

His appearance on the show marked his first-ever performance on Saturday Night Live.

Boone’s appearance on SNL occurred just before the debut of his second studio album, American Heart.

The “Beautiful Things” artist unveiled the album during his performance at Coachella 2025 on April 11, and later shared the cover art, which features him standing shirtless in front of an American flag.
