Ariana Grande Handles Onstage Microphone Issue with Grace During Brooklyn Concert

Ariana Grande remained composed when a technical problem briefly interrupted her performance during the opening Brooklyn stop of her Eternal Sunshine Tour at Barclays Center.

The Grammy-winning singer was performing “Eternal Sunshine” when her microphone unexpectedly stopped working. Instead of letting the malfunction disrupt the show, Grande calmly signaled to her crew while they quickly worked to restore the audio.

Even without a functioning microphone, the audience enthusiastically continued singing the song, helping carry the performance until the equipment was fixed. Once the microphone was working again, Grande happily acknowledged its return before apologizing for the brief interruption.

She also took a moment to thank the concertgoers for their understanding and expressed appreciation to her crew for resolving the issue so quickly. Grande praised the team behind the scenes for handling the technical setback and thanked fans for remaining patient throughout the unexpected pause.

After confirming everything was back to normal, she excitedly asked the crowd if they were ready to continue, prompting an enthusiastic response from the packed arena.

Several crew members briefly joined her onstage to make final adjustments to her equipment before quietly exiting, allowing the performance to continue without further delays.

As she prepared to launch into “Just Like Magic,” Grande joked with the audience by asking whether they had been able to hear the previous performance, drawing smiles from fans.

The incident occurred during Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour, her first arena headlining tour in several years following a period spent balancing her music career with acting, including portraying Glinda in the film adaptation of Wicked.

The tour celebrates her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 after its release in 2024. Along with songs from the new record, the setlist features fan favorites from earlier albums, including Positions, Dangerous Woman, My Everything, and Thank U, Next.
