Swift Achieves Historic Feat at 2024 Grammys: First Artist to Win Album of the Year Four Times
A skilled Swift fan has replicated Taylor Swift’s 2024 Grammys ensemble!
In a video shared on Instagram in the aftermath of Swift’s groundbreaking Grammys triumph, social media enthusiast Angelica Hicks crafted her rendition of the singer’s strapless Schiaparelli gown.
The video commenced with Hicks fashioning a white bedsheet around her body using a piece of paper as a prop. She then adjusted the sheet around her waist to mimic a high slit and utilized black tape to simulate Swift’s bespoke Lorraine Schwartz vintage watch, worn as a choker.
Hicks brought the design to fruition by cutting out a watch face from a magazine and affixing it atop the tape. For Swift’s layered necklace, she fashioned foil paper and ingeniously utilized a cough drop as a jewelry pendant.
To emulate Swift’s signature black opera gloves, the social media user ingeniously repurposed a pair of black tights. Furthermore, she perfectly captured the pop star’s hair and makeup aesthetics, sporting textured waves and donning red lipstick. Fellow Swifties showered praise on Hicks in the comment section.
“This girl’s creativity is off the charts 😮,” one follower exclaimed. “You deserve a Grammy for this!” wrote another admirer.
At the 2024 Grammys, Swift made history by becoming the first artist to win Album of the Year four times. On that memorable night, she also surprised fans with the announcement of her upcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Currently, Swift is embarking on her Eras Tour, thrilling audiences in Tokyo. Her final performance in Tokyo is slated for Feb. 10, after which she will take a brief hiatus before journeying to Australia for a performance on Feb. 16.
Amidst excitement surrounding the 2024 Super Bowl, fans are anticipating Swift’s presence, particularly to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., reassured fans with a statement on Friday, indicating that Swift should have ample time to return for the highly anticipated game.
