Rodrigo, who is performing a show with Amex to support the charity, expresses, “I believe it will be a deeply rewarding and, hopefully, a productive journey.”

Before releasing her latest album, “Guts,” Olivia Rodrigo was understandably anxious about how her music would be received. Fast forward a month, and the album has dominated the charts in 14 countries, with listeners showing unwavering enthusiasm for its tracks.
“I genuinely feel like I’ve had the most joyous and serene month following the album’s release,” the 20-year-old singer-songwriter shares with PEOPLE. “It’s been incredibly cathartic, and I finally feel like I can savor the album for the first time.”
In addition to savoring the angsty, rock-infused 12-track collection, Rodrigo’s audience is already eager for more from the “Vampire” musician, and they’re well aware that more content is on the horizon. After pre-ordering vinyl copies of “Guts” several months ago, fans were pleasantly surprised when unboxing revealed that each of the four differently colored records sold on her website featured an exclusive bonus track: “Obsessed,” “Scared of My Guitar,” “Stranger,” or “Girl I’ve Always Been.”
Since then, fans have been eagerly anticipating when these songs will become available on streaming services. Rodrigo acknowledges their enthusiasm, stating, “I’m delighted that people have taken a liking to those songs. I can’t reveal all my plans, but I have a genuine affection for many of those songs, and I believe they won’t be confined to vinyl forever.”
With “Guts” now out in the world, the “Vampire” artist’s schedule has been packed with live performances and promotional engagements, and she shows no signs of slowing down. Last month, she unveiled the Guts World Tour, and tickets for all 77 tour dates have already been sold out.
Before hitting the road, though, she’ll grace the stage for an intimate performance at The Theatre at Ace Hotel DTLA in Los Angeles on October 9. Titled “American Express Presents: An Evening with Olivia Rodrigo,” this concert, part of Amex’s third annual Member Week, will immerse fans in the world of “Guts” with a captivating experience featuring photo booths, lattes from Midori Matcha, and a special acoustic performance.
“I’m genuinely thrilled to perform these songs that I’ve never had the chance to play before. It’s going to be an incredibly special night,” Rodrigo enthuses, and she will be joined by her frequent collaborator Dan Nigro at the event. “We’ll delve into their creation, discuss our inspirations, and share all the entertaining stories we gathered while crafting this album.”
Tickets for the show will be available to American Express cardholders starting on Sunday at 10 a.m. PT, and all proceeds will be directed to Rodrigo’s recently established nonprofit, Fund 4 Good. With its name playfully nodding to her hit single “Good 4 U,” the charity’s mission is to support causes that are close to the Grammy winner’s heart.
“The initiative of Fund 4 Good is to shine a spotlight on specific organizations that are advocating for women’s issues in the United States and all the other places I’m heading to. I’m truly excited about it, and I believe it will be a gratifying and, hopefully, a fruitful endeavor,” Rodrigo elaborates. “A substantial portion of the funds will go to support abortion funds, assisting individuals in need of reproductive healthcare.”
Additionally, Fund 4 Good will receive a portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold for the Guts World Tour, commencing in February.
