“Here’s a pro tip… you deserve someone who invites you to collaborate,” Burton remarked following Taylor Swift’s attendance at NFL star Kelce’s game over the weekend.

Hilarie Burton-Morgan finds parallels between her relationship with husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan and the recent encounter between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Following Swift’s presence at the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s game in Missouri over the weekend, Burton-Morgan shared her thoughts on social media, commending the NFL star for inviting the Grammy winner to his workplace. She reminisced about how her husband had courted her in a similar manner over a decade ago.
“Here’s a piece of advice… you deserve someone who invites you to collaborate,” wrote the 41-year-old One Tree Hill actress on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

1. They think you’re so awesome & they want everyone from buddies to the boss to meet you.
2. They work hard & they’re GOOD, & they want you to see that.
Flew to see JDM on a set 14 yrs ago.#kelceswift💖
Burton-Morgan went on to explain that such a gesture signifies that a romantic interest sees you as “incredibly amazing” and desires to introduce you to everyone, from friends to colleagues. She also noted that inviting someone into their professional world reflects their dedication and competence, demonstrating that they are hardworking and skilled, and they want you to witness that.
Recalling her early days with Morgan, who is now 57 and with whom she began dating in 2009 before marrying him a decade later, Burton-Morgan shared that she “flew to see JDM on a set 14 years ago.” Although the specific set she visited remains unclear, he was involved in various projects during that period, including Grey’s Anatomy.
The internet is currently captivated by the budding friendship between Swift and Kelce, both 33 years old, and Burton-Morgan is no exception to the excitement. She expressed her deep interest in their connection, saying, “I am incredibly invested in this,” in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday.
Kelce had previously attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium, the home stadium of the Chiefs, in July. He had mentioned his desire to give his number to Swift at the show and expressed his disappointment that they couldn’t meet.
Kelce extended an invitation to Swift to attend one of his games at the stadium during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show podcast, and she accepted the invitation. She attended the game on Sunday when the Chiefs played against the Chicago Bears, watching from Kelce’s family suite alongside his mother, Donna.
After the game, Swift and Kelce were spotted together on video as they left the venue following his team’s 41-10 victory. Subsequently, they headed to a restaurant that Kelce had reserved for a small gathering with friends and family, according to a source cited by PEOPLE earlier this week.
An insider shared, “They’re just spending time together, and there’s no pressure on their current connection.”
