Taylor Swift Surprises Fans with a ‘Crazier’ Mashup from the 2009 Hannah Montana Movie During Eras Tour Stop in Scotland

“You get extra points if you know this next song at all because it is really, really old,” Swift told the crowd in Edinburgh.

Taylor Swift keeps delighting her fans with unexpected mashups!

At her second of three Eras Tour shows in Scotland on Saturday, June 8, the superstar seamlessly combined “All of the Girls You Loved Before” from 2023 with “Crazier” from the 2009 Hannah Montana movie featuring Miley Cyrus.

“You get extra points if you know this next song at all because it is really, really old,” Swift, 34, told the crowd at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium during the acoustic piano mashup.

“Oh my God, you’re so unbelievable,” Swift remarked before the song’s bridge.

The nostalgic moment occurred during the surprise song segment, where Taylor Swift performs two songs or mashups each night of the Eras Tour acoustically on piano and guitar.

For night two in Edinburgh, the other mashup featured “The Bolter” from 2024’s “The Tortured Poets Department” and “Getaway Car” from 2017’s “Reputation.”

The superstar received a warm welcome to Edinburgh earlier in the week when the bagpipe group Reel Time Pipe Band covered Swift’s 2008 hit “Love Story” at the same stadium where she would later perform. A video of the performance was posted on TikTok by local news outlet Forth 1 News.

Scotland’s First Minister John Swinney also joined the fanfare, welcoming the “Cruel Summer” singer and praising the temporary renaming of local Loch Tay to “Loch Tay Tay” in the star’s honor as “just fabulous” in a video message posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“I really hope she has the chance to go and see Loch Tay — or should I say, Loch Tay Tay — because it is the most beautiful part of Scotland,” Swinney said. “She’ll get a really warm welcome here, and I know all of the Swifites will be so exhilarated by her presence in Scotland.”

The Eras Tour dates in Scotland mark only the second time Swift has scheduled concerts in the country — the first was in June 2015 for a sold-out show at an arena in Glasgow for the 1989 World Tour.

“I happen to love Scottish people, personally,” the singer told the Glasgow crowd in 2015, just a month after she had taken her relationship with Scottish producer Calvin Harris public with an appearance together on the red carpet at the Billboard Music Awards.

At the 2015 concert, Swift also shared her Scottish heritage with the audience, mentioning an email she received from her father, Scott Swift, ahead of the show.

Swift remembered receiving an email with the subject line stating, “Inform Scotland about this.” The email’s content emphasized the family’s strong Scottish roots, insisting that it was crucial to relay the message to Scotland.

Following her performance in Lyon, France, enduring rainy conditions during the first show, Swift’s visit to Edinburgh swiftly followed.
