Swift’s groundbreaking Eras Tour covered five continents and numerous cities, running from March 2023 to December 2024.

Taylor Swift has been recognized for her record-breaking Eras Tour.

On Monday, March 17, the 14-time Grammy winner received the prestigious Tour of the Century Award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards, hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

In her virtual acceptance speech, Swift, 35, expressed her gratitude. “I really can’t tell you how much this means to me because this, on behalf of my tour mates, all my fellow performers, my band, everyone who toured with us, our crew… this is actually the two-year anniversary of the first show of the Eras Tour, so I’ve been doing a lot of processing since I’ve been off the road these last few months.”

Reflecting on the experience, Swift added, “People often say that some of life’s greatest challenges end up being the most rewarding if you can rise to the occasion. And this tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I’ve ever done. It’s a 3.5-hour show with more performances than I’ve ever done on tour.”

The Down Bad singer also shared that she thinks about the tour “constantly” and credited her “fans” for giving her the strength to push through.

“To the fans, you turned these songs from the past couple of decades into something truly special, making it possible for us to create a 3.5-hour setlist,” Swift said in her heartfelt speech. “Your passion and generosity — traveling from place to place just to see us — is incredible. It blows my mind, and I’ll never stop being grateful for it. I appreciate this more than you know.”

Following her speech, the awards show treated viewers to an exclusive performance of Mirrorball from the Eras Tour‘s opening night in Glendale, Arizona, back in March 2023.

During her second-to-last concert, Taylor Swift expressed heartfelt gratitude to her fans for being part of her journey.

“This is the most fun, joyful, exciting, intense, powerful, and wonderful tour I have ever done, and that’s all because of the way you have treated it,” Swift said, according to a video shared on X.

She went on to explain why the Eras Tour became her longest-running tour yet. “I’ve never played this many shows on a tour before, and it’s just because I really never wanted it to end,” she shared. “You guys have made it such a wonderful experience for all of us on stage.”

“You’ve created all these amazing traditions,” Swift said. “I wrote one line in a song that mentions ‘make the friendship bracelets,’ and then I show up to the first Eras Tour show, and you guys had actually made them! You’re trading bracelets, making friends — and now, I feel like friendship bracelets have become something completely tied to the Eras Tour because of you.”
