Taylor Swift Expresses Gratitude to ‘Louder Than Humanly Possible’ Crowds in Sydney Following Four Eras Tour Performances: ‘Endless Magical Moments’

By Website Content Manager

The singer recently concluded four sold-out shows in Sydney, with attendees including boyfriend Travis Kelce, Katy Perry, and Rebel Wilson dropping by to witness her performances.

Taylor Swift is exhilarated following a record-breaking weekend in Sydney, Australia.

The 34-year-old singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to reflect on her four Eras Tour performances in the city, expressing, “Sydney, Sydney, Sydney, Sydney… what a whirlwind of endless magical moments with you. I’m so grateful that we got to be the first tour to play Accor Stadium 4 times.”

Recalling the memorable highlights from her latest stop on the global tour, she shared, “I’ll never forget singing with Sabrina, the chaotic acoustic mashups, and the crowds that were louder (singing AND screaming) than I thought humanly possible. I want to thank all of the Aussie fans for being so positive and passionate, so funny and wild and FUN. Love you forever 🤍.”

Swift’s post featured a carousel of images from the shows, including one of herself seated at a piano on stage with her support act Sabrina Carpenter.

Swift and Carpenter, aged 24, collaborated onstage at Friday’s show following the cancellation of Carpenter’s opening act due to inclement weather delaying the event.

The pair delighted fans with a medley of “White Horse” and “Coney Island.”

“9-year-old Sabrina singing white horse would never see this s—- coming! I love you so so so dearly Taylor. Always have always will,” Carpenter expressed on Instagram, sharing a video of the performance. Actor Barry Keoghan, rumored to be Carpenter’s boyfriend, left a “👑” emoji in the comments section of the post.

“Thank you Sydney for making me feel so welcome!! See you tonight💌,” Carpenter signed off the post before her performance opening for Swift on Saturday.

Swift’s VIP tent was bustling throughout her four shows at the Accor Stadium. On the first night, her boyfriend Travis Kelce was present, sporting numerous friendship bracelets on his wrists as he enthusiastically sang along to Swift’s performance.

Katy Perry and Rita Ora were also among the attendees, engaging in conversation in the crowd as they awaited the start of the show. Ora’s husband, filmmaker Taika Waititi, accompanied the duo.

Following the show, Perry, aged 39, took to Instagram to share a series of snapshots and video clips from the concert. This included a joyful selfie with Swift backstage and a video of herself singing along to “Bad Blood,” a song rumored to have been inspired by their complex relationship over the years.

“Got to see an old friend shine tonight ♥️✨,” captioned the American Idol judge alongside the carousel of images.

The “Cruel Summer” singer’s stint in Sydney marked her second destination on the Australian leg of her tour. Prior to that, she performed in Melbourne the previous weekend, drawing similarly sold-out crowds. Her inaugural night at the Melbourne Cricket Ground saw an astounding audience of 96,000 fans — her largest turnout yet.

Expressing her gratitude to the multitude of fans who attended her shows in the city, Swift commemorated the conclusion of her three performances in Melbourne in an Instagram post earlier this month.

“Melbourne, what do I even say to you after over 288,000 of you came and danced with us in the last 3 nights ??!” she penned alongside a carousel of images from the shows. “That was unforgettable. You were on another LEVEL. Thank you for the memories. I’ll revisit the ones from this weekend often 🥲🫶.”

The “Karma” singer’s Eras Tour is now set to journey to Singapore, where she will grace the stage for six nights at the National Stadium, commencing on March 2nd.
