The Muppet Show is set to debut on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday, Feb. 4.

The Muppet Show is officially making its comeback—and it’s doing so with a delightful and unexpected guest.

Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter joins the legendary Miss Piggy in the first teaser for the upcoming The Muppet Show special, which premiered during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

In the preview, Carpenter enthusiastically plays along with the Muppets’ playful antics, even coordinating outfits with Miss Piggy herself. One moment shows the singer praising Miss Piggy as a true icon, prompting the ever-confident diva to respond with a cheeky, “You’re too sweet. Go on.”

Carpenter’s appearance follows a memorable moment from earlier this year during the final stop of her Short n’ Sweet Tour in Los Angeles, where she jokingly “arrested” Miss Piggy on stage. Before launching into her song “Juno,” Carpenter scanned the crowd for her final playful arrest of the tour.

“You’re all so stunning it should be illegal,” she told the audience, before spotting Miss Piggy and Bobo the Bear. “You—wow. I’d recognize that face anywhere.”

Their lighthearted exchange continued as Carpenter asked Miss Piggy if she was enjoying the performance. Miss Piggy replied that she was loving it—though she had a few critiques to share later. Bobo the Bear, acting as security, then stepped in to place Miss Piggy in handcuffs, joking, “Let’s move, Pig. Save it for the judge.”

The teaser also features actor Seth Rogen chatting with Fozzie Bear. Rogen admits he’s long dreamed of being part of the show, to which Fozzie humorously asks if he has any other aspirations.

Rogen serves as executive producer of the special and recently shared on Instagram that he’s spent nearly a decade working to revive The Muppet Show, hinting that his efforts are finally paying off.
