Nicole Kidman Says She’s ‘Absolutely’ a Fan of Adéla Ahead of the Singer’s Upcoming Song Inspired by the Actress

Adéla’s forthcoming debut album, Prima, will include a track titled “Nicole Kidman,” named in honor of the acclaimed actress.

The 22-year-old Slovak pop singer, who first gained widespread attention after appearing on the 2023 reality competition series Dream Academy, is preparing to introduce her debut album, Prima, on Friday, Sept. 4. Among the tracks on the record is one intriguingly titled “Nicole Kidman.”

Kidman, 59, was asked about the rising artist while attending the London premiere of Practical Magic 2 on Wednesday, Aug. 26. When a fan initially asked whether she knew Adéla, the actress appeared uncertain. However, after the fan mentioned the upcoming song bearing her name, Kidman immediately recognized who they were talking about.

“Oh, yes! She is! I do know!” Kidman responded enthusiastically.

The actress went on to say that she definitely knew Adéla and revealed that she planned to see the singer perform when she visits Nashville. Adéla is scheduled to take the stage at The Basement East on Sept. 21 during her Red Bottoms Tour.

Adéla herself appeared to be stunned after seeing a video of Kidman expressing her support. A fan account shared the clip on Instagram, where Adéla reacted with an excited message filled with disbelief and enthusiasm.

The connection between the two continued the following day when Kidman made her debut on TikTok. For her first post, the actress selected Adéla’s increasingly popular song “Ain’t in LA” as the soundtrack.

Released in July, “Ain’t in LA” has quickly gained momentum, eventually reaching No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. The achievement marks Adéla’s first-ever appearance on the prestigious chart.
