Miley Cyrus made sure all eyes were on her at the 2026 Golden Globes — and not just because of her fashion-forward look.
The 33-year-old singer, who was nominated for Best Original Song, proudly displayed her engagement ring from fiancé Maxx Morando while walking the red carpet. Cyrus earned her nomination for “Dream as One,” featured in Avatar: Fire and Ash.
In addition to her sparkling new jewelry, Cyrus turned heads in a black, floor-length sequin gown with striking, fan-shaped embellishments extending from the shoulders. She completed the look with a black pendant necklace accenting the plunging neckline. Her recently refreshed blonde hair — a nod to her Hannah Montana era — was styled in loose, slightly messy waves, giving the look a signature rock-inspired finish.
Her makeup, created by artist Janice Daoud using Maybelline products, was inspired by Cyrus’ natural edge. According to a press release, the focus was on bold lashes and defined lips for a look that felt modern yet effortless. Daoud noted that layering different shades of Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara added depth to her eyes, while sculpted lips delivered a polished but relaxed red-carpet effect.
Following confirmation of Cyrus and Morando’s engagement in December 2025, Francesca Simons of Francesca Simons Consulting — representing jewelry designer Jacquie Aiche — revealed that the ring was custom-made. The engagement ring features a cushion-cut gemstone set on a wide 14-karat yellow gold band, with experts estimating its value between $150,000 and $450,000.
A source previously shared that Cyrus is overjoyed about the engagement, describing the ring as a perfect reflection of her style with its bohemian, rock-inspired feel. The insider added that Cyrus chose to keep the engagement low-key, noting that Morando’s preference for privacy has influenced her more reserved approach.
Cyrus and Morando, 27, who serves as the drummer for the band Liily, have lived together for several years and frequently collaborate musically. According to the source, Cyrus feels grounded in the relationship and enjoys their quiet, creative life at home.
Still, the singer admits she’s adjusting to the idea of being engaged. In a previous interview, she joked that she feels awkward using the word “fiancé,” following her earlier marriage to actor Liam Hemsworth.
The couple were first romantically linked in December 2021 after being photographed together backstage at Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party in Miami. They later confirmed their relationship publicly in April 2022 when they were seen kissing in West Hollywood.
