The singer-songwriter is also preparing to hit the road this fall with a new concert tour.

Michelle Branch is marking a major milestone in her music career with a new project that celebrates the songs that helped define it.

On July 15, the singer-songwriter revealed that she will release Everywhere and Back Again, an EP featuring newly recorded versions of some of her best-known hits from the past 25 years. The collection includes refreshed takes on fan favorites such as “Everywhere,” “All You Wanted,” “Goodbye to You,” and “Breathe,” along with additional tracks.

According to a press release, each song features collaborations with artists from different musical backgrounds, offering fresh interpretations of music Branch originally wrote and released as a teenager. The project revisits those songs through the voices and experiences of musicians who grew up listening to her work.

Branch shared that hearing fellow artists perform songs she created in her youth has been an unforgettable experience. She explained that the collaborations have given the lyrics new emotional depth, transforming stories of young love and heartbreak into songs that resonate differently years later through the perspectives of artists from various genres.

The 43-year-old musician also reflected on reaching the 25-year mark in her career, saying it is especially meaningful to celebrate the milestone while remaining confident that her strongest work is still ahead. She added that the continued support of longtime fans who have followed her journey over the years is something she deeply appreciates.

To accompany the announcement, Branch released the first single from the EP, a new version of “The Game of Love.” The updated recording reunites her with Gregg Alexander of New Radicals, who co-wrote the original song with Rick Nowels.

Branch said collaborating with Alexander was particularly meaningful because he has long been one of her musical inspirations. She noted that many listeners are unaware that he was one of the song’s original writers, making the duet a full-circle moment that captures the spirit of the original demo.

Originally released in 2002 as a collaboration with Santana, “The Game of Love” became a major hit, earning a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. The song also climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart.

In addition to the EP, Branch announced the Everywhere and Back Again Tour, which will celebrate both the new release and the 25th anniversary of her major-label debut album, The Spirit Room. The tour is scheduled to begin on Sept. 27 in Seattle.

Promoting the tour on Instagram, Branch informed fans that presale tickets would become available at 10 a.m. local time on July 15. She also encouraged fans to register through the link in her bio for early access while sharing the full list of tour dates.
