Jadyn Cree’s father is Bryan Olesen, a finalist from The Voice season 25.
Jadyn Cree’s future looks promising — and Michael Bublé agrees.
On Monday, March 10, Cree performed Danny’s Song alongside fellow Team Bublé member Braxton Garza during the battle round.
Following the duet, each coach shared their thoughts on the performance, but the final decision was left to Bublé.
“I thought it was flawless. Jadyn, I don’t think you know how great you are. You could win this show, for sure,” the 49-year-old singer told Cree, whose father — season 25 finalist Bryan Olesen — proudly watched from the audience.
In a post-performance interview, Michael Bublé praised Jadyn Cree, calling her a “superstar.”
“Not only do I see Jadyn fitting in with today’s big pop stars like Olivia Rodrigo and Billie Eilish, but she has that spark — that special something we can’t quite explain,” Bublé said. “Part of it is that I think she’s truly humble.”
Meanwhile, coach John Legend, who had previously worked with Cree’s father, Bryan Olesen, during season 25, told Bublé that Cree was bound to be “one of your best contestants.”
Cree’s journey began with her audition performance of Paramore’s Still Into You, earning chair turns from Bublé and coach Kelsea Ballerini. Her father, watching proudly from backstage, was moved to tears.
“My dad definitely left some big shoes to fill,” Cree said before stepping on stage. “I’m excited to make him proud and try my best to get anywhere close to where he got in this competition.”
When the coaches turned their chairs, Legend initially found her face familiar before realizing she was Olesen’s daughter. The All of Me singer, 46, then admitted he felt a bit of “FOMO (fear of missing out).”
