Madonna Hints at New Music for 2025, Calling Her Creative Process ‘Medicine for My Soul’

Madonna may have new music on the horizon for the new year.
In an Instagram post shared on Monday, December 16, the “Like a Prayer” icon posted a video montage featuring her and producer Stuart Price collaborating on fresh tracks. The clip shows them grooving, dancing, and writing together, with Madonna’s boyfriend, Akeem Morris, her manager, Guy Oseary, and her twin daughters, Stella and Estere, also joining her in the studio.
“Working on new music with Stuart Price,” the 66-year-old singer captioned the post.
Madonna reflected on her recent creative journey, describing it as deeply therapeutic. “These past few months have been medicine for my SOUL. Songwriting and making music is the one area where I don’t need to ask anyone for their permission. I’m so excited to share it with you,” she wrote.
She concluded her post with a teaser: “Who wants to hear new music in 2025! 🎄🎹🤶🏻”
Fans were ecstatic about the announcement from the Queen of Pop. One commented, “This is the Christmas present I wanted!!! Don’t try to be trendy, just follow your instincts. That’s always when you create your best work. I can’t wait to hear new music!!!”
Others celebrated Madonna’s reunion with Stuart Price, 47, who co-produced her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor. “A dream come true,” one fan wrote. Another added, “Finally something to look forward to in 2025!”
Earlier this year, Madonna posted a video on Instagram showing her in the studio with Stuart Price, captioning it, “London Calling……………Back in the Stu with Stuart Price. 🇬🇧 🇬🇧🇬🇧!” on September 30.
Madonna’s most recent album, Madame X, was released in 2019. More recently, she kicked off her Celebration Tour in October 2023, performing across North America, the U.K., and Europe.
