The singer’s outfit was quite revealing as she walked the red carpet in Los Angeles on Wednesday, displaying more than just a bit of skin.

Katy Perry made quite the impression at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards. The 39-year-old singer turned heads as she graced the red carpet, flaunting her black thong and backside. Her outfit consisted of a red lace-up skirt paired with a matching peplum corset and towering black heels. Perry accessorized with a pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings, and styled her dark locks in a sleek ponytail. Additionally, she showcased a new prosthetic tattoo, a butterfly creation, which she shared a closer look at on Instagram after the event, crediting makeup artist Hugo Villasenor in the post’s caption with the lyrics “You’re my butterfly, sugar, baby.”

The image carousel showcased various photographs of Perry backstage at the awards ceremony, which took place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. Additionally, there was a video capturing a close-up of her tattoo and thong while someone assisted in adjusting the laces on the back of her skirt. Tracee Ellis Ross served as the host for the event, which honored individuals such as Karol G, Victoria Monét, and Kylie Minogue.

Perry’s attendance at the awards follows her recent support for fellow singer Taylor Swift during the latter’s first Eras Tour show in Sydney last month. Perry enjoyed Swift’s performance from a VIP tent at the Accor Stadium and subsequently posted several pictures and videos from the concert on her Instagram account, including a cheerful selfie with the “Karma” singer, who is 34 years old. “Got to witness an old friend’s brilliance tonight ♥️✨,” Perry captioned the series of posts.

The post by the singer known for her hit “Roar” also included videos of Swift singing her songs “You Belong with Me” and “Bad Blood.” In the footage of Swift performing “Bad Blood,” the camera angle shifts to Perry, who appears surprised and sings along to the lyrics. These lyrics seem to draw from the complex relationship between the two artists over the years.
