The U.S. leg of the Lifetime Tour will begin on May 7 at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Katy Perry’s upcoming Lifetimes Tour promises to be an unforgettable experience. As she prepares to hit the road in support of her 2024 album 143, Perry describes the tour as a “love-filled spectacle” that fans won’t soon forget.

“This show will have plenty of BPM (beats per minute), so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and staying hydrated because we’re going to be dancing all night,” says Perry, 40.

Just days before the release of 143, Perry delivered an incredible performance at the VMAs, where she received the Video Vanguard Award. She believes that performance offered fans a sneak peek of what’s to come on the tour.

“We always create a big, Disneyland-like tour with costume changes, acts, dancers, and musicians,” she shares. “I’ll even fly around the room. No matter where you’re seated, you’re going to get up close and personal with me at some point.”

The Lifetimes Tour, which kicks off in Mexico City on April 23, will be a celebration of Perry’s extensive catalog, including some fan favorites.

“I’ll be introducing a few new songs, and I’m calling it the Lifetimes Tour because it’s all about celebrating the entire span of my music career,” Perry explains, adding that she plans to “bring out some deep cuts” for the tour.

Perry has also created a special “Club 143 experience” for fans, complete with a bartender and a fun atmosphere. “It’s mom’s night out too,” she jokes.

While the tour is all about providing fans with a great time, Perry is mindful of her health, family, and ensuring each performance is top-notch.

“I’m 40, I have a family, and there’s a whole world outside of this that I’m also looking after,” she says. “I know the responsibility of putting on a tour and how much people look forward to it. I’m making sure to stay in great shape, giving my body the rest it needs, and taking care of myself so I can show up every night and give as much as I possibly can.”

Before each show, Perry follows a “crunchy granola” routine, which includes a “game-changing” practice that she plans to implement on the road.
