Bieber entertained the crowd with several of his popular songs, including “Let Me Love You,” during the unexpected performance.
Justin Bieber gave Los Angeles parkgoers an unexpected musical treat on Tuesday, Sept. 22, when he joined a group of musicians for an impromptu performance at MacArthur Park.
The pop star was filmed by TikTok user @SONYGT05 relaxing on the grass while playing drums and singing along to several of his songs, including “Let Me Love You.” According to FOX11, which cited the California Post, Bieber also performed “Speed Demon,” “All I Can Take,” and “Yukon” during the spontaneous jam session.
Several other musicians accompanied the 32-year-old singer, contributing guitars, tambourines and other instruments to the casual outdoor performance.
Bieber appeared cheerful as people gathered nearby to watch and record the unexpected show. He also took time to interact with some of the younger fans who had come closer to the musicians.
One video showed Bieber warmly greeting a young boy and telling him that he was “so cute.” The child was later handed a tambourine by one of Bieber’s bandmates, although he ultimately chose not to play it despite encouragement from his family.
The surprise performance comes shortly after Bieber discussed some of his personal music preferences in an interview with WYouth published earlier this month. He revealed that his favorite karaoke selection is Chris Brown’s “With You,” a song that holds a notable place in his early career.
Bieber famously uploaded a video of himself singing Brown’s track to YouTube in February 2008. The performance has since accumulated more than 65 million views. At the time, Bieber was just 13 years old, and the video appeared more than a year before the release of his debut single, “One Time,” in May 2009.
His wife, Hailey Bieber, 29, also revealed her preferred karaoke song during the interview, choosing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The couple, who married in September 2018, agreed that selecting a single favorite artist of all time would be nearly impossible.
Beyond his musical activities, Bieber has also been spending quality time with his young son, Jack Blues. On Sept. 15, the singer posted a series of photos capturing a tender moment between the father and son as they walked hand-in-hand.
The images appeared to have been taken from behind inside a hotel lobby and were accompanied only by a heart emoji. Both father and son were dressed casually and wore matching beanies and sneakers. Jack completed his outfit with jeans and a light-blue T-shirt, while Bieber wore an oversized hoodie and cropped sweatpants.
