Ice Spice and Taylor Swift enjoyed a girls’ night out at the 2024 Super Bowl!
On Sunday, the duo arrived together at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to witness the showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers.
Ice, aged 24, and Swift, aged 34, were accompanied by “Cruel Summer” singer’s mother, Andrea Swift, Blake Lively, and Ashley Avignone as they headed to their suite before the Big Game.
Once settled in their private area, the party kicked off with a gathering of notable celebrities!
The rapper known as “Barbie World,” whose real name is Isis Naija Gaston, posted a summary of the event on Instagram using photos on Monday. In the caption, she simply wrote “W.”
In the carousel’s cover image, Ice and Swift were pictured alongside NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and Ice’s music producer, RIOTUSA. Later, they were joined by Migos rapper Quavo, who took photos with the musicians.
Additionally, Donna Kelce and Jason Kelce were seated just one row behind Spice and Swift, joining the group in cheering for the Chiefs. The Chiefs secured their second consecutive Super Bowl victory by defeating the 49ers 25-22 in overtime.
Throughout the game, the women could be seen enthusiastically supporting their team.
Recently, Swift and Ice have developed a close friendship. In May of last year, the Bronx native was showcased on a remix of “Karma,” a song by the “Shake It Off” singer. Swift also pleasantly surprised her audience by inviting Ice as a special guest during her Eras tour, where they performed the hit together onstage at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for three consecutive nights.
When Ice made her debut on Saturday Night Live in October, Swift was present to introduce her as the musical guest for the show.
During an interview with Variety in September, the hitmaker of “Munch (Feelin’ U)” expressed her sentiment towards Swift, referring to her as her “sis.”
Ice referred to Swift as her sister, mentioning their conversation while sitting next to each other at the MTV VMAs earlier that month. She described Swift as funny and shared that they enjoyed some drinks while chatting and vibing together.
Ice previously disclosed how the two met during a July interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe. The rapper shared with the host that she was having “a really bad day” when her manager called to inform her that Swift wanted to collaborate with her.
“I was having a terrible day. I was crying all morning because I was just so mad at something, and then he called me with that news,” she recounted. “And then I cried more, because it was good news.”
Ice further elaborated, “We went to the studio, and she’s so humble and so nice. I kid you not. I pulled up to the studio, and she’s outside waiting for me. I’m like, ‘Why is Taylor Swift outside?’ Like, ‘Taylor, what are you doing here?’ So she’s great. She’s so funny.”
