“Fan Rushes Stage and Grabs Katy Perry During Her Performance in Sydney”

“Looks like this one’s going to be unforgettable,” the singer remarked as security led the fan away from the stage.

Katy Perry experienced a startling incident during her concert in Sydney on Monday, June 9.

A video shared on X captured the moment Perry, 40, was performing her hit “Hot N Cold” when an unexpected fan leapt onto the stage and put his arm around her. Startled, Perry quickly stepped away as the man continued to jump and began doing the Fortnite dance.

Two security guards rushed in and struggled to subdue the man, who resisted their efforts to remove him from the stage. As the situation unfolded, Perry addressed the audience, saying, “Well, there’s never going to be another show like this. So just enjoy it, Sydney.”

Despite the disruption, Perry kept performing while the man was eventually escorted offstage by additional security staff.

This wasn’t the first unusual moment on Perry’s recent tour. At her May 17 show in Las Vegas, she jokingly called out a fan for allegedly sending direct messages to her fiancé, Orlando Bloom. “Cute grin. I know why you’re here,” she said during her introduction to “I’m His, He’s Mine.” She added, “Listen, if you keep DM’ing my man… Oh, Kyle? I know, I know. You’ve been doing it for months, ever since the [Play] residency.”

That same night, Perry also faced a wardrobe mishap during a performance of “Part of Me.” As she sprinted down the runway in a reflective cone bra, the top began to come loose, nearly exposing her. In a TikTok clip, the singer could be seen adjusting her pace into a strut, seamlessly styling out the malfunction.
