Demi Lovato appears to be gearing up for a new musical era—and it’s got fans buzzing.
The 32-year-old “Cool for the Summer” artist has cleared nearly all of her Instagram posts, leaving just two, signaling what looks like the start of a fresh promotional cycle.
On Wednesday, July 9, she shared a single photo with the caption, “I’m not so sure, I’ve ever felt like this before.”
In the shot, Lovato poses on a studio floor against a plain white backdrop, dressed in a black mini dress. With her back turned to the camera, she glances over her shoulder, serving a sultry expression.
On Thursday, July 10, Demi Lovato dropped another teaser for fans—a music video snippet accompanied by the caption, “it feels so right.”
In the clip, she sings, “I’m not so sure, I’ve ever felt like this before / I can’t deny, it feels so right,” while confidently walking toward the camera. She mouths the lyrics to the sultry track wearing a leotard, sheer stockings, and an oversized jacket. Her look is completed with natural glam makeup and tousled, wet-look hair.
Back in September 2024, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the “Confident” singer shared that she was in the process of working on a new album, though she hadn’t set a release date at the time. She explained that she was still “figuring out” her sound.
“I write based on where I’m at emotionally,” she explained. “Lately, it’s been wonderful—I’ve been creating nothing but love songs and sexy tracks because I’m in such a good space. It’s really refreshing to write from that place.”
Lovato’s most recent album, Holy Fvck, was released in August 2022.
More recently, she made a surprise appearance at the launch event for The Tryst hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on April 25.
She also took a step back from the spotlight after marrying her partner, Jordan Lutes—known professionally as Jutes—on May 25 in California.
According to a source who spoke to PEOPLE after the ceremony, Lovato is in a very joyful phase of life. “She’s never been happier,” the insider shared. “She’s deeply in love with Jordan—he treats her incredibly well.”
