Demi Lovato and Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes Rehearse for Wedding in Heartwarming Pre-Ceremony Moment

Demi Lovato and her fiancé, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, are getting ready to say “I do” — and they’re making sure every detail is just right ahead of their big day.

On Saturday, May 24, the couple was spotted practicing their wedding ceremony. According to photos and videos shared by TMZ, the duo walked hand in hand down the aisle and stood together at the altar during a rehearsal surrounded by family and close friends.

Lovato, 32, looked elegant in a white dress with her signature black hair styled down the middle, while Lutes, 34, wore a sharp black suit jacket for the occasion. The pair also posed for pictures with loved ones and appeared cheerful ahead of the celebration, which PEOPLE confirmed is set to take place on Sunday, May 25.

TMZ previously broke the news that the couple planned to wed over Memorial Day weekend, though the specific date was not initially made public.

Their romance began in early 2022 when they met while co-writing Lovato’s single “Substance.” They made their relationship Instagram-official that August. In December 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that Lutes had proposed during a quiet, intimate moment in Los Angeles.

In a September 2024 interview with Teen Vogue, Lovato shared that she felt an immediate attraction to Jutes from the very beginning. “I had a crush on him right away,” she said.

The couple has been vocal about their affection and strong bond ever since. Speaking with PEOPLE that same month, Lovato gushed, “I’ve waited my entire life for someone like him.” She described Lutes as deeply supportive and loving, adding, “He keeps me grounded, and I feel so lucky to be with him.”

Jutes echoed those sentiments in an October 2024 interview, explaining that they’ve chosen not to rush their wedding planning. “We’re taking it slow and enjoying being engaged,” he said. “We didn’t want to make it stressful — just meaningful.”

Over the past year, the couple has marked several special occasions together, including Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and the anniversary of their engagement. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Lutes called Lovato his “favorite person,” while Lovato expressed excitement for their future together, writing, “I can’t wait to call you my husband.”

She added in a Valentine’s Day tribute: “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you! These last three years have been the best of my life — and it’s all because of you.”
