Chappell Roan Announces Special 2025 Pop-Up Shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Kansas City
Chappell Roan, affectionately known as the Midwest Princess, is heading back on tour!
On Thursday, July 24, the pop star took to Instagram to share exciting news: she will be hosting exclusive pop-up concerts this fall in three cities—New York, Los Angeles, and Kansas City. These performances will act as an extension of her Vision of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour, which began in Europe on May 30 with an appearance at the Warsaw Festival.
“I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’ll be doing Pop-Up Shows in Kansas City, New York, and LA this fall! These cities mean so much to me, and I wanted to do something meaningful before I take time off to focus on writing my next album,” Roan, 27, wrote.
She added, “Since we’re only performing in three cities, it’s important to me that tickets are affordable and that we limit access for scalpers.”
To help make tickets more accessible and prevent scalping, Roan is collaborating with Fair AXS, a ticketing platform that requires fans to register for the shows in advance. In the week before presale, the service will work to eliminate bots and scalpers, ensuring that only real fans receive links to purchase tickets. Additionally, Roan has teamed up with Cash App to offer 15% cash back for fans who use a Cash App Visa debit card when purchasing tickets.
“Over the next week, AXS will filter out suspected bot or scalper accounts and randomly select verified fans to receive ticket links,” she explained. “If chosen, you’ll get an email between August 5 and August 7 with instructions — so keep an eye on your inbox and don’t forget to check your spam folder! If you’re not selected initially, you’ll get details on how to join the waitlist starting August 7.”
As part of her commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, the “Pink Pony Club” artist also announced that $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to local organizations in each city that support transgender youth. “Giving back to the trans community is deeply important to me, as they’ve played a vital role in my journey as an artist,” she shared in a press statement.
