The married couple, who have had an on-and-off relationship, were seen getting cozy at an event held at Casa Cipriani.
Cardi B and Offset seemed to rekindle their romance after the Met Gala. In the early hours of Tuesday, May 7, the 31-year-old “WAP” rapper and the 32-year-old Migos member were seen together at Richie Akiva’s 10th annual “The After” Met Gala afterparty, hosted at Casa Cipriani.
The couple, who have children together including daughter Kulture, aged 5½, and son Wave, aged 2½, appeared to be back together at the event, holding hands as they navigated through the crowd.
Before attending Richie Akiva’s afterparty, Cardi B hosted her own Met Gala afterparty following her stunning appearance on the red carpet.
Prior to arriving at the party, held by Revolve and FWRD at Silencio New York, Cardi had a wardrobe change. She slipped into a custom, one-of-a-kind outfit by Revolve Atelier in collaboration with Revolve’s team, led by Alessandro Francalanci and Anthony Kenny.
The ensemble featured a cinched sequin scarlet corset with draped fabric at the hips, giving the illusion of a tied coat around her body. According to a press release, the design was inspired by runway corsetry and draping.
Later in the evening, Cardi opted for a more casual look, sporting ripped blue jeans and a green sweatshirt embroidered with flowers, in line with the floral theme of the 2024 Met Gala, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”
Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been characterized by ups and downs over the years, and they separated last year. Cardi confirmed her single status in a December 2023 Instagram Live, admitting uncertainty about how to share this with the world. She hinted at the split through social media actions like unfollowing Offset and posting cryptic messages on her Instagram Story, suggesting changes in her relationship status to her followers.
In January, Cardi B revealed that she and Offset had spent New Year’s Eve together and were intimate at that time. However, she acknowledged that she wouldn’t consider reconciling with her spouse until they both address their issues, both as a couple and individually.
As the relationship continued to draw attention, in March, Cardi released her “Like What (Freestyle)” music video, which was directed by Offset.
Then, on Tuesday, April 30, four months later, they were seen sitting courtside together at a Knicks playoff game date night at Madison Square Garden.
