Hey hey, you you — Avril Lavigne is hitting the road this summer!
The pop-punk princess revealed the schedule for her inaugural greatest hits tour on Monday, consisting of 27 dates across North America. Opening acts, including All Time Low, Simple Plan, Girlfriends, and Royal & the Serpent, will join her throughout the tour.
“Tour dates for 2024 baby! I’ll be doing the Greatest Hits from all of my albums and along with some of your favorites, perhaps some special requests?” shared the 39-year-old Canadian superstar alongside the announcement on social media. “And of course, all of my friends are joining me!!!”
Simple Plan also took to social media to share their excitement for the upcoming tour, with the fellow Canadian band (debuted in 2002, the same year as Lavigne) reflecting on their early days.
“We’re so stoked to join @AvrilLavigne on her Greatest Hits tour across the US and Canada this summer,” wrote the “Perfect” band. “This really is a full circle moment for us: more than 20 years ago, we did our first US arena tour with Avril and it was absolutely amazing. To have the chance to go on the road with her again is gonna be so rad, and we can’t wait for the shows this summer!”
Starting on May 22 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Lavigne’s tour will traverse various cities, including Las Vegas, Phoenix, Toronto, Nashville, Chicago, and more, culminating on Sept. 16 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Presale tickets will be accessible throughout the week starting Jan. 24, followed by a general sale commencing on Jan. 26. Additional details can be found on Ticketmaster. Fans also have the option to purchase various V.I.P. packages on vipnation.com.
