Ariana Grande Postpones Three Eternal Sunshine Tour Shows to Make Sure the Complete Production Can Be Presented Safely

The singer has rescheduled her performances at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center and Boston’s TD Garden to new dates.

Ariana Grande is adjusting the schedule for several dates on her Eternal Sunshine Tour.

The Grammy-winning pop star revealed on Instagram Stories Monday that three upcoming performances would be moved because of production-related challenges that could affect the safety and execution of the shows.

Grande’s July 12 performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center has been rescheduled for July 14. Meanwhile, her two Boston shows at TD Garden, originally planned for July 22 and July 24, have been shifted to July 23 and July 26.

“We are truly sorry for these unexpected changes,” Grande told fans in her announcement, explaining that the adjustments were made after production concerns came up and that the new dates were the safest option available.

The singer emphasized that protecting everyone involved in the production remains the top priority. She also referenced the importance of safety following the 2017 Manchester Arena attack, which happened after one of her concerts and resulted in the deaths of 22 people.

“Safety is the most important thing to all of us, along with making sure you experience the show the way it was designed to be seen,” Grande wrote, thanking fans for their patience and saying she looked forward to performing for them.

Tickets from the original dates will still be accepted for the rescheduled shows, and ticket holders will receive further updates directly.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour began earlier this month and marks Grande’s return to live performances after spending recent years focused on acting and other creative projects, including portraying Glinda in the movie adaptation of Wicked.

Grande is also set to appear in the upcoming comedy Focker in Law, the newest entry in the Meet the Parents franchise, alongside actors including Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. The film is scheduled for release on Nov. 25, 2026.

Fans have been highly anticipating Grande’s return to touring, with many shows selling out quickly after tickets became available. Her previous major tour, the Sweetener World Tour, ended in 2019 after more than 100 shows worldwide.

The current tour supports her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its 2024 release. The album produced two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles, “yes, and?” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love),” and serves as the foundation of the concert setlist.

Along with songs from the new album, fans can also hear popular tracks from her previous records, including Positions, Dangerous Woman, My Everything, and Thank U, Next.
